So it‘s her first and last time there. Maybe too ashamed to visit again after this. 😄 or maybe she is a carnivore and never thought of edible greens before. Wait until she finds out how her spinach looks before the shredder. Alright enough. 😁

Well, that’s one way to turn a bad review into advertisement for your business.

To be fair… Bay leaves are in fact one of those things where if you don’t know what it is you will screw up enjoying the food it’s in.

Just shows the sheer audacity of the ignorant. Publicly shaming a business because you are an uncultured ignorant potato deserves massive public humiliation. When do we stop allowing the morons of this world to rule with absolute authority? I’m so tired of seeing stuff like this. I realize how much of an overreaction to this particular instance is but I am at my limit for idiocy. Its like my inbox of stupidity is full of 20,000 tiny files and deleting them isnt an option. At what point do the intelligent (non-evil) people decide that enough is enough? I’m so tired of this world and it just keeps getting worse.

Bay leaves are pretty much inedible tho and ideally would not be served to the customer

I’m sure it would surprise some people to find a leaf in their food if they’ve never seen a whole bay leaf before. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t at least ask what it is before you leave a bad review.

In the house I grew up in if you got the bay leaf, you did the dishes. Pretty sure Mom decided who did the dishes and it wasn’t random but if I got the bay leaf at a restaurant I’d be pretty pissed too. I pay for my meal there you can’t also make me do the dishes.

Interesting tactic pretending that it is acceptable to leave a whole ass bay leaf in somebody’s food.

The bay leaf should’ve been removed from the plate but the review is pretty telling that they never have cooked anything before.

Everyone is trashing the reviewer here for not being familiar with bay leaves. But the restaurant should be removing them before serving, and, instead of admitting their fuck-up, they’re belittling their customer. Everyone sucks here.

Okay, sure, but your “Chef” should be making sure whole bay leaves aren’t making it to a customers plate.

This isn’t the first time I’ve seen a “ew leaf in my food” review that turned out to be a bay leaf. Some people are genuinely unintelligent.

Whole leaves should be removed before serving. If the beans where served with visible leaf on top, that is bad on the chef. But I’m guessing this is not the case?

That’s a fair criticism though. You’re supposed to remove full bay leaves prior to serving
