Socialism means not spending money on food with your wife.

    1. If I remember correctly, the picture on the right is when Zohran visited a modestly priced sushi restaurant in NYC and the social media poster was roasted for his lack of knowledge.

    2. Look, he’s just like you! He eats different things on different days and different times of the day! He’s not supposed to be like you!

Also, $290 for a dinner for 2 in NYC is not particularly expensive, miles from the most expensive restaurant in town. Now let’s see where Cuomo goes for a nice night out with *his* wife. I have the feeling $290 wouldn’t cover it.

I mean, most New Yorkers eat cheap food on the go and fancy food at restaurants. The food is one of the best things about NYC.

    4. They don’t think anyone who ever visits a nice restaurant is eligible for mayor? Are they stupid?

    5. Christ, neither are liberals (who are actually neoconservatives), or progressives (who are actually neoliberals).

At this point someone who pisses off rich people is the surest sign they’re the correct choice.

    6. Yes I’m confused when someone worrying that democrats so generous with using tax money to help poor people or refugees and think about people who abuse the system using snaps or free healthcare. While ok knowing GOP bailouts Argentina 40B, make east wings ballroom 230m and those private jets and golden Air Force one that will cost tax payers hundreds millions while paying more for groceries and insurance because of the tariffs. Worrying about small fish more than bigger fish. I don’t understand the logic.

    7. I’m kinda done explaining to right wing folks that socialism and communism are not interchangeable terms

    8. And the dude that’s building a 300 million dollar golden ballroom is a man of the people right?

    9. Yikes!! I’m certainly not going to vote for this foodie elitist. Mostly because I am not a NYC resident. But if I was an NYC resident, I would actually vote for him because how is this even a question???

    10. Totally. Instead, vote for a capitalist that’s HONEST about how much better than you they are, and about their support for an authoritarian system based on endless greed and destruction of the environment.

So stupid. It’s like that ridiculous saying “the road to hell is paved with good intentions.” Ok, so I guess bad intentions are better than good intentions? What asinine BS.

    11. It is not surprising at all, right?

I BELIEVE SOCIALISM MEANS LIVING IN DIRT AND STARVING…

… therefore when he does something “nice”…

      HE’S a HYPOCRITE

Thank you for advertising how your “brain” works.

    12. We really need a copy pasta that just quickly explains what socialism is and how having money doesn’t conflict with it.

These people don’t know what socialism is.

The United States Military is socialism (I was a part of it). Your housing, medical, child care, education, and so much more are all taken care of. You still have a job that you can work up (or down) in. You can still spend your money on strippers, booze, bad decisions, and a Vegas wedding….it still has capitalism.

    14. Critiquing the cost of Mamdani’s dinner’s while simultaneously ignoring the ridiculous amount of money the President spends on absolutely everything..
