Once, an attendant did not strap the people in for a tilt-a-whirl ride. He pressed the initiation button and the ride started going up. I knew at that moment I was going to die. Then as panic set in, we all screamed and he stopped the ride.
I do not know if he wanted to prank us or not but I hated everything about the ride.

One time when I was a kid I got on one of those looping pirate ships and the piece of shit harness literally didn’t lock into place.
It was just hanging by this nylon strap that was attached to the chair and it would literally floated a good 6-12 inches over my shoulders when the ride was upside down.
Fortunately, I found this pipe or something running underneath the seat and I was able to latch my feet onto it so that’s how i got through the entire fucking ride.
By hanging upside down like a bat.
