She was just ADORABLE. Then you would see her on a talk show and realize she was intelligent and funny. She got nominated for an Oscar and you realize what a good actor she is. You see her in the background of multiple Elvis movies and realize what a good dancer she is.

It’s so interesting that western people look up to famous people from their country from 30-70years ago and really appreciate them for how they acted, sang, looked, etc.
Whereas in Eastern Europe we don’t go lower than around 25 years ago. What’s lower than that is dusty rusty communist and for grandparents.
