    1. How redditors feel asking a live forum for answers to a question that takes 0.2s on Google to answer.

    2. They treat every question like it’s a riddle and they’re the gatekeeper of forbidden knowledge.

    3. Literally yesterday I had a question in the hot wheels sub about what a chase car is. I only got one response, and they said something close to, “If only you had a search engine to answer this question.”

Like bro, you could have just answered my question, I would like some insight from people who really know what they are

    4. How dare you ask people questions that they can just scroll right past if they don’t know the answer or don’t feel like answering! You stupid dick! 😤

Either that or they find like 2 words they somehow read completely the wrong way and try to call you out to make conflict about it

Saw a redditor say “pray do tell” the other day. This is the kind of stuff that gets you punched in the face irl

      1. post question
      2. enter alt account
      3. give the worst possible answer in the most self-assured way

The other day I posted to welding, asking for critique and advise. I made it very clear, I’m not a welder but an automotive tech that needs to learn and get a little better at it; I made it very clear that I’m a novice at welding and would appreciate some tips and constructive criticism.

      > grinder and paint lololol

      > that’s bad

      > you suck, pick a different career

Like, guys, I know I fucking suck, that’s why I’m here asking questions! Bless the people who did stop by and gave me valuable feedback, but my god people need to chill out lol

    9. Because people come to Reddit asking “do my research for me” and frankly, if you haven’t bothered to do the thirty second google or sub search to see that the question has been answered hundreds of times, why should I do it for you and then report back? Cannot care more than the poster.

Because most simple questions have been posted way too many times to count and can most often be googled, especially for those many other posts.
People just get sick of answering the same questions over and over, and want to express how annoying those are to see in your feed.

Making my racist porn app look like the search history of someone who can’t even tie their shoes.

    11. that’s not just reddit, that’s the internet in general and its been that way for decades, people seem to dispise answering questions, which is weird because they also like acting like they’re smarter than everyone else

    12. Depends on the question to me. If it’s an actual question worth answering and/or it’s serious enough I give a serious answer, however I end up being on some rather unserious reddits, and as such it’s more rhetorical than anything else for some reaction.

    13. Honest answer:
Sometimes it’s fun to be a snarky little shit.

      Reddit answer:
I dunno, maybe the same reason you’re dad is allergic to showing affection.

    14. Or when you post a selfie anywhere and instead of being nice or just scrolling past they feel the need to point out the one negative thing you seem to get told all the time
