It’s a tedious process having to obsess over every little nitpick, but when I see the same nitpicks someone else’s work, it feels like no big deal. Why is that?
You’re way more critical of your own creations because you feel like you can do better and want it to be an absolute perfection, just like how you imagine it in your head. But looking at other people’s work doesn’t usually give the same feeling because you weren’t the one who made it, so you have no business in deciding what is intended and what isn’t, because you didn’t know what was going on in the creator’s head. What might look problematic to you could actually be what the creator wanted, so even if you think something is wrong in someone else’s work, you just like being supportive of people, regardless of how good you think their creation is, because if they’re happy, you’re happy for them.

If you get a satisfying answer, I’d love to hear it. This feeling has effectively paralyzed me from doing or completing anything.
