For anyone wondering tires are black because carbon is mixed vulcanization. This process improves their strength , flexibility and resistance to wear .
Before vulcanization, natural rubber is like a messy bowl of noodles : everything sticks together but can easily slide apart under frictions . Vulcanization adds sulfur cross links between those polymer “noodles” , holding them firmly together. The result is tougher rubber that doesn’t run off as easily, though it still wears down slowly over time .

Always black washing shit! Now we got woke tires.

The real reason is actually carbon black—it strengthens the rubber and makes tires last longer.

Tires don’t run, the mechanisms for vehicular motion have nothing to do with which colour the tires are.

Carbon black: the OG tire bling. Natural rubber stays white until we flex on it with that dark pigment for durability and street cred. Science just roasting vanilla tires.
