Depends on the wind chill. -10 is short sleeve expression as it’s not bad

-10 with a wind chill can make people feel like it’s colder than what it actually is

    2. Here in NJ we get it all, the 100+ heatwaves and the below 0 drops. I can say with my preference that lower is better. Take 30 degrees difference as an example. If 72 is the loved sweet spot then 102 is way too hot to function. If it’s 42 I am not just fine, but I might be happier. It take till like 12 for me to be stuck inside. Which is twice the delta.

Cold is much easier to bare and overcome than heat. Heat just takes you out of commission. Never understood the summer love.

I live in Japan and people freak out when I’m I’m a t shirt and shorts when it’s like 10 degrees out. Japanese people are wearing down jackets and acting like it’s the begining of Ragnarok 😂😂😂😂😂

    5. I am both sides of the spectrum. I spend my spring/fall in alaska and my summer/winter in California. My temperature regulation is all over the place

I always laugh at people in the UK shutting down schools because it’s 90°F(32°C), meanwhile my local Texas middle schoolers are playing in the Sun at 100°F(38°C).

Though I’m sure they laugh at us complaining about it being 40°F(4°C) in the Winter.

What kind of South America are you talking about?
Because cold is far away from here.
      Usually is 25° C

    8. As a Canadian, can confirm. When the temperature rose from -35°C to -10°C I wear a T shirt when I BBQ.

Meanwhile, just today, my brother complained that his students didn’t want to play outside in the 22°C weather because it’s “too cold”.

I wouldn’t want to survive in Southern America. I truly can’t imagine having to exist the way those guys have to, putting up with that weather. Especially places like Phoenix, where it seems people can literally find themselves being slowly cooked alive.

Apparantly there were very good reasons for building in these places, where the planet is trying it’s very best to kill you and even the plants can be a little terrifying. I cannot for the life of me guess what they might be.

I grew up in the north and moved to the proper south two years ago and I literally do exactly this to basically all of my southern friends.

But they make fun of me for dying in the Satan’s asshole summers while they can wear a jacket and still be fine so it goes both ways

Canadians act like Americans straight up cannot comprehend cold, like we point out that it was cold, or shiver in a cold breeze and its suddenly a competition to see who can be encased in ice for longer

    12. Hilarious that all the Americans in the comments are like “yeah Canadians are used to cold weather”, and everyone else from the rest of the world are just rolling their eyes.
