      My son and I did a vacation to DC a couple years ago, and we were able to arrange a tour. We went in through the East wing, down the corridor past the movie theater (If I recall correctly), and there was a small gift area before you were on the ground level of the White House itself, with a few rooms showing off china and silverware, before you took stairs to the state rooms on the main floor, and exited out the “front” entrance on the north side.

      Trump is a threat to our laws, our history, and our people. Nothing is safe from him. And his party is willing to let him do all this as if it is normal. The whole GOP is responsible for what’s happening, not just Trump.

      To even suggest the possibility of removing a statue of a confederate general from in front of a courthouse in Bumfuck, Arkansas is an affront to conservative American “heritage” and an attempt to destroy history, but bulldozing an entire wing of the White House so the 80 year old orange toddler can have his ball pit is just A-O-fucking-Kay.

      All of these “America first” and “it’s our history” purists are tying themselves in knots to defend this…or are completely silent.

      This “not a king” asked for NO ONE’S permission to tear up one of the world’s most recognizable buildings, and likely changing the façade forever

      I hope the next president turns it into a soup kitchen and rips his name and all the shitty gold paint off of it just to spite him. I think that would piss the guy off to no end and be a great use for the space. Nothing he hates more than poor losers. But make sure they eat off of his fancy gold china and gold forks.

      This is obviously just an elaborate ruse to tunnel into the Treasury Department building across the street.

      It’s all part of his plan to steal ALL THE MONEY & thinks he needs a 90,000 sq ft building to store it for his late night Scrooge McDuck money swimming sessions.

      I bet you anything that the budget for this project will hit 1 billion before its end. He’s already increased it by $100 million dollars. And it’s all being paid for by “private investors”, they might as well just call it the bribery ballroom.
