      The problem with this is that these companies will still write this off on their taxes and probably get all of it back.

      Being private funded is so problematic.

      However, forcing the taxpayers to pay Trump 230million, and then having Trump pay directly for the ballroom, is worse.

      It has all the problematic conflict of interest, while having the taxpayers paying for it indirectly. With a sprinkle of private funds.

      It’s a runaround and feels corrupt, and may be illegal, if the court finds the DOJ payout illegal….
