      Well that’s ironic

I like how it says you can’t take pictures yet there’s pictures available on Google maps

    2. My company helped with decommissioning Area 51. There is practically nothing on the surface and yet each day we’d show up and there’d be stuff there that wasn’t sitting there before. Couldn’t bring in camera phones, couldn’t ask questions. Just hauled off or buried tons and tons of non descript looking stuff. We never could figure out where the stuff came from, no obvious doors, gates, lifts, tunnels besides the shallow areas we had access to.

Don’t they come and take a look at you even if you’re stopped outside this gate? I’ve heard they track you even if you’re driving outside this line.

    4. I don’t think this is the “Main Gate.” There is a much more developed entrance at Rachel, Nevada. Officially the Nellis Air Force Range on which Area 51 resides.

I’ve been there before. It’s like 8 miles of gravel road through the middle of nowhere from the highway then you come around a corner and here’s this gate. Fun fact, when I came, there was a white ford raptor parked up on top of the hill on the right side of the picture. He was pointing towards the road before we came around the corner. After we came around the corner, he was pointed towards the gate….

    6. looks like they spent their entire budget on stop signs instead of actual security measures

Wow i didn’t think you could get that close, are more classified things going on at 52 now instead of 51?

I was working on a large project for NV Energy for several months this year and anytime we were surveying near the Nellis/DOEborder we’d generally have guys in unmarked white vans watching us through binos.
I’d look at them through my binos and wave. They never waved back. 😂

    9. I went to this gate in 1999 and there were wayyyyyy more signs, like 30 signs. We turned our RV around right at the gate and I took some pictures from the side window. Maybe I can find those. There is also a place called the Little A’Le’Inn we stayed at around that area that had a time capsule from the filming of men in black. Think it said they will open it in 2050.

    10. That’s because people that are supposed to be there don’t drive there, they are flown in daily.

Doesn’t look that secure, by the time you reach the stop sign they would have helicopters in the air and white trucks on top of the hills
