So true. Discount the daily evidence, the praise of Hitler, the comments directly from the mouth of “The Right’s” leader, the comments about Jews and black people and Hispanics, their One Joke, telling Puerto Ricans to “go back to their country”, decades upon decades of facts, the Southern Strategy and the language they used while describing the Southern Strategy, and what do you have? NOTHING! Check mate, libs!

But racists don’t care to learn the history of who invented the procedure that saved them or where it came from, they’ll just continue being haters. The “fuck you, I got mine!” mentality.

>Dinesh D’Souza’s opinions regarding Black Americans are characterized by a set of controversial and widely criticized ideas, articulated over many years in his books and public appearances. He argues that modern racism is not a significant issue and that the problems within the Black community stem from cultural rather than systemic factors. D’Souza has been accused of using inflammatory and racially charged rhetoric to advance his views.
>D’Souza produced a documentary, *2016: Obama’s America*, which was heavily criticized for its portrayal of President Barack Obama. An academic analysis concluded that the film used “inferential anti-black racist caricatures” to depict Obama as a “menacing mulatto monster”. D’Souza attempted to present himself as a “translator” of Black experiences while offering negative judgments throughout the film.

I’ve been in contact with so many minorities who voted R because their personal prejudices are against LGBTQ people, or other minorities who they consider “under” them. Completely oblivious to the fact that THEY ARE ON THE GODDMNED LIST.
I’m sorry man. The Republican voter registration doesn’t cancel out the fact that you are gay. Being an evangelical Christian doesn’t cancel out the fact that you are black. If you are a white Christian but you live in an impoverished area and need public services, take a number because you are in line.
Lack of empathy and having someone to stomp down on is the entirety of the GOPs rhetoric. If you are not a rich, white, male then congrats, you’re on the Hate Roulette wheel

Again and again, I see this so commonly now. There are these giant bigots who hold tentpole positions on social media or in major political parties, and dozens of minority groups will flock to them because they openly espouse hatred for a singular group of people that they, individually, dislike.
Whether it’s a sexual minority or gender minority or a person of color, it doesn’t really matter. The pattern is always the same. They’ll worship at the feet of this tentpole personality and not realize or care that the figure *reviles* them. Eventually when all is revealed, and the ire is directed toward the worshiper, they’ll act shocked and dismayed.
Either everyone has guaranteed rights or no one does. Even if someone hates the existence of gays or Muslims or wheelchair users or trans people or whatever the target of the day is, it is critical that they support rights for that person. The only time this doesn’t apply is when someone is asking for the tolerance of their own intolerance, masking that intolerance as a “basic right” or “common sense” which seems to be the go-to option anytime this happens.

I remember when Steve King went on MSNBC and outright asked “where did any other subgroup of people contribute more to civilization” than white and Christian people, in 2016. And in 2017 when King tweeted “Wilders understands that culture and demographics are our destiny. We can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies.” (https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2017/03/steve-kings-iowa-immigrants/) Just two examples of one prominent Republican. Not to mention all the trolls and assholes I used to see on forums such as the probably-dead Yabberz and Disqus, the former I once saw a bunch of them claim someone noting how racist they were being about Idris Elba being considered for James Bond as “playing the race card.” Dinesh is being deliberately obtuse.
