I see it fairly often, but it also reminds me that I miss the center thing they used to put in washers.
These modern open washers seem to get unbalanced loads way more often, and the whole “self balancing” feature is a joke.

Pretty sure that’s a washing machine without the big agitator in the center . If you load stuff in as if it was there, leaving a hole in the center this “shouldn’t” happen
