The oldest trick in the book. Keep ’em fighting over nonsense so they don’t notice the real grift. It’s all a distraction

This is a devastatingly accurate summary of every news cycle for the past five years.

Look no further than the whole trans issue.
Whether or not you agree with the trans rights movement, it is at *best* a fucking sideshow to any of the real issues facing this nation.
Who fucking cares if Stan now identifies as Stacy or Eve as Yves and what fucking bathrooms they use or how they spend their spare time playing with balls.
There’s people living on the streets, households are mired in healthcare debt, the median age of first-time home buyers is spiking, wealth inequality has been growing for decades, student loan debt is increasing.
But how many fucking articles a week are printed about or podcasts mentioning or news segments dedicated to any of those issues, and how many are made about an issue that *truly* barely affects anyone?

Never watch the news.
It’s all slop propaganda.
I watch the weather, but the second something seems political, I turn the channel off.
