    1. Coming from the state that puts chili on spaghetti and having *never* seen a Skyline outside of Ohio, this sort of fuckery emanating from their cuisine doesn’t suprise me at all.

    2. “Angriest meal I’ve eaten in years” this is so me. Like, even if it’s trash – I still gotta eat!

Who actually thought of this and said, “this is a good idea. Let’s serve this to people”? Seriously, on the face of it, this is a terrible idea. No actual thought required.

    4. I live in pittsburgh, we have 1 place that sells it like this. its fire. Tastes like an adult, higher quality lunchable. The cheese taste a lot better, its provolone instead of mozzarella and the toppings are cooked and most of the time hot/warm.

I occasionally enjoy the textural contrast between hot and cold ingredients (i.e cold cheese on top of my chipotle bowl) but this is a step too far

    7. Pizza is the easiest meal in the world to get right. How do you screw up pizza this badly?

    8. This is not Ohio style pizza. This is rage bait.

Ohio pizza is known as Ohio Tavern Pizza and it’s a very thin dough, cheese to the edges so there’s basically no crust, and cut into squares.

It’s often served with cubed pepperoni like you’d find on school pizzas back in the day, or crumbled Italian sausage.

    9. It does look cursed at first glance. However… You cannot knock it til you try it. Very crispy thin crust. Baked just crust and sauce. Then a thick layer of delicious freshly shredded provolone/mozzarella blend of cheese melts down from steaming in the box with tender little nicely spicy pepperoni. Some locals prefer to leave the cheese cold, myself being one. The DiCarlo family brought this pizza to the OV like 100 years ago. It’s a true regional classic.

    10. If I want to eat shredded cheese and cold pepperoni, that’s a 2am visit to my fridge.

Warm bread and sauce with cold toppings? God damn food crimes.

    11. I’m sorry but I’m gonna show my white card on this one… I’d fuck up a big boy lunchable pizza.

It’s Ohio Valley style, basically the northern panhandle of WV and either side of the border in OH and PA.

Having grown up on this style pizza, don’t knock it until you try it.

    13. I’ve lived in Ohio most of my life and have never seen such a monstrosity. Second worst thing from here after JD Vance.

I’m being picky, but Ohio Valley and Ohio aren’t the same thing. The Ohio Valley refers to the region surrounding the Ohio River (the water basin). It also includes parts of PA, IN, KY, and TN.
