The Presidential Emergency Operations Center (PEOC, PEE-ock) is a bunker underneath the East Wing of the White House. It serves as a secure shelter and communications center for the president of the United States and others in case of an emergency.
I think Trump’s going to expand it under that useless gigantic ballroom that’s twice the size of the main White House building itself. The ballroom will be approximately 90,000 square feet, while the main White House building is about 55,000 square feet.

He’s a realestate mogul/con. He’s old, unhealthy, facing his own mortality and trying to figure out how to leave some positive mark. To his addled mind, this is the legacy he wants. Bunch of lobbyists and future pols wheeling and dealing in an opulent ballroom, bought with shady political donations that cemented someone’s access to power. What an idiot.
That said, if his health holds out, I do believe he’ll try to find a way to stay in power until he dies. At this point he has to do so to avoid sentencing on his 34 felonies.

Wouldn’t that be so awesome (and kind of funny) if after Trump was gone, they were able to use this ballroom as some kind of charitable organization….like a soup kitchen or homeless shelter?
