    1. is this some wabi sabi shit?? Why would they purposefully stack their burgers like this in meticulously crafted food photos?

    2. Iirc this is because Japan has some rules in food advertising. The food needs to follow the picture precisely. They purposely slide the top bun to show how much filling there is inside the burger.

    3. the rules in japan make it have to look like what you get, i wish we adopted this practice or law.

    4. All I know is that Japan is really strict about advertising their food. It has to be 100% accurate by their laws, so food packaging that show the food has to be showing the whole truth. Maybe that has something to do with this

    5. I have *NEVER* gotten a burger at a fast food chain that looked *anything* like the picture.
