I love these short political memes to misrepresent what is actually going on. It has to do with the US and the IMF International Monitary Fund giving easement to paybacks on previous loans and timelines. The US is the largest contributor to the IMF, so it would be like not foreclosing on a loan because it’s late. I would rather the US and IMF loan to the current Argentina government that is not spending themselves into a socialist hole that they are trying to pay back. The prevous government borrowed their way into this mess, and the current president has been turning the ship around by privatizing as much of the government as possible . Their inflation has drastically decreased since he was elected.
