We had a long-haired guinea pig about 20 years ago, that was by all means my girlfriends and her kids pat, I did much care for the thing because it wasn’t a lap sitter lol, at least not without leaving a pile of turds in your lap like a rabbit would, but it could hear her coming down the road 2 mi away. The thing was quiet as a church mouse 90% of the time except for it’s running wheel and three or four minutes before she would pull in the driveway that thing would start squealing like somebody was pulling its tail.Â
