Nobody should be celebrating this. The protest was supposed to be non-violent (and almost completely was), and this troublemaker should have been ignored.
Because here’s what happens now: grabbing someone’s glasses and running away constitutes both assault and robbery. The troll is now a “victim” of two crimes for which there were dozens of witnesses and likely multiple angles of incontrovertible video evidence. All that evidence can be subpoenaed, the perpetrator will almost surely be identified in a few days, and the administration will be more than happy to make an example of of them, publicly celebrating their arrest and what will certainly be an undeservedly harsh punishment on ginned-up charges (“hate crime”, “treason”, whatever a corrupt AG can make up). There’ll be no bail and they’ll be held in miserable conditions for the maximum possible time (a year) without a trial.
It plays right into the narrative the administration wants. On conservative media this won’t be a “prank”, but a violent assault leading to injury.

Should add that it suspected alcohol was involved. Made the guy brave enough to yell of over 500 people. Kid walked up, took his sunglasses, and gave chase, completely falling down . He later fell again aka “tripped” and really got hurt in the face. Protestors tried to help him but he was just mad drunk at that point
