First time I’ve actually seen that done by a drone. Pretty cool.

Wish we would use them for purposes like this more often than we use them as weapons

I mean …America also has this technology….problem is the drone just can’t lift the average American.

Ok but how did he get there? A pessimistic part of me feels like they brought him there just to bring him back for the video

So do we now use ‘Chinese drone rescue drill’ instead of ‘Chinese fire drill’? /s

That was unnecessarily risky. Why fly the person more than maybe 10 ft above the water/ground? If the drone fails or they fall out of the harness, reduced injury. The emergency only part is because the drone is not made to a safety standard to be carrying people, so given that, why unnecessarily put someone in danger of falling 4-5 stories?

I love this propaganda. 😂 It’s like “Chinese farmer invents robot using leftover titanium parts in his barn”
Where THE ABSOLUTE F do you think a fishing village in China got a drone of that cost? Hmmm? Where do you think they learned to fly it?
Here are some data points for ya.
The average annual per capita disposable income for rural residents in China was 23,119 yuan ($3,209 USD) in 2024. This figure is from the National Bureau of Statistics and represents a steady increase, though it remains significantly lower than the income of urban residents, which was 54,188 yuan ($7,522 USD) for the same year. In the first half of 2025, the rural per capita disposable income was 11,936 yuan (US$1,658).
