Grace was hot looking but Janis was just so good. Both had amazing voices but JJ’s version of “Piece of my heart” just kills me every time I hear it on the radio.

Oddly enough, they were not close or even friends. Grace could be an ego maniacal unpleasant person. Janis’s ego was fractured and fragile in many ways. She was extremely humble around the public. She knew what she wanted musically, but putting up a facade of greatness was not her style. It was Grace’s. If only to Armour her vulnerability.
