As someone who wasn’t even born when it happened, this whole episode feels like a prelude to the idiotic world where murder and war and celebrities and social media are all lumped in to one which wel all live in today.

I remember all the black kids at my high school celebrating. It was nuts cause everyone else was just shocked and silent. Like the guy clearly murdered a person and he was found innocent. Until then I hadn’t put the money part into the equation but realized he was free because of connections, fame, and money, not race. However, for black America race was a defining factor in cheering for a murderer because so many black Americans have been screwed by the justice system and there was a huge tribal component to it.
