That’s some prime industrial farming right there. Nature really doesn’t care where it grows.

    2. And not just any cantaloupe, but a Super Star Cantaloupe! (At least judging by its shape now) One of the best!

We once planted a single row of cantaloupes in our garden. They took over two more rows and started growing onto the patio. What should have been maybe a dozen turned into about 30. The squirrels and racoons got most of them before they were completely ripe, but we still managed to get half a dozen out of them.

For several years after that, we had at least half a dozen melons, even though we never replanted.

    4. what genuinely puzzles me about gardening and growing plants is that the more i “care” about growing something, the faster it dies and then there’s this where they accidentally grows a full ass fruit.
