oh no, you can clearly see a trend how the number of meteorites is increasing and how they land closer to humans (as they were found). The end is near!

Funny how they land with greater frequency in areas where there is greater literacy.

For a moment I almost fell into the trap of thinking “hmmm, that’s interesting, I wonder why metiorite landings are more prevelant at lower latitudes, there must be some interesting science behind that”……
….and then I came to my senses and realised this was obviously just gonna develop into a population map over time. Still cool though!
