I never saw anything about whether or not everyone on the boat received any kind of compensation. The band was totally not at fault. I’ve always wondered if DMB gave each person $10 grand or whatever amount just it was literally such a shitty situation and their/his name was attached to it.
Honestly fuck whoever was operating this bus. Dumping that much raw sewage into a fresh water lake because you are too lazy/cheap to dispose of it correctly is a huge asshole move, but to not even bother checking if the area is clear beforehand is just on another level. It’s hard to contemplate how someone could be this dumb.
