If you live in the uk you need to learn the language and respect the culture the same way white people go to middle eastern countries ans respect their culture

I get the point of what this is saying, but it’s a poor comparison.
South Africa has 12 official languages (think it has 3rd most globally), including English. Zulu is the most spoken language at around 25%. So, the vast majority of Africans in South Africa don’t speak it either.
England has one official language and 91% of the pop speak it. And I think like +90% of those English speakers don’t speak any other language

I hate to be that guy but I think their counterpoint would be that Zulu was not “official” language of South Africa in their eyes. It was Dutch and English, then Afrikaans, which many colonists did indeed end up learning. I don’t agree with it but that argument needs to be made.
If you just look at immigrants to South Africa from non white countries like India, they all speak English or Afrikaans and not Zulu so there’s definitely something there
