He likes you! He really likes you!

You’re absolutely precious, and it looks like you had a good relationship with your dad. That’s awesome. Did he ever tell you why he got the Purple Heart?

    3. Any idea what that sign says in the back?

      “This is a

      act respectable”

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought that was Sally Field before I read the caption.

You look a lot like my aunt. The year makes sense too. My grandfather also got a Purple Heart from WWII. The only thing stopping me from thinking you are my aunt is that that man is definitely not my grandfather.

    6. What was it like working with Robin Williams?

My grandfather was also at the Bulge. 11th Infantry.

My grandpa was there too. He was shot there and had shrapnel in him his whole life after. That’s how he got his Purple Heart 💜

I thought Sally Field and Henry Bukowski (although he doesn’t have the gin blossom nose). Cool pic. So many of our relatives fought against what our current admin is embracing. It’s shameful to treat our progenitors in such a disrespectful manner when we should be thanking them for their sacrifices.

Is it just me, or do an inordinate amount of the females in these old photos look like Sally Field?

My grandpa fought in the Battle of the Bulge too! Also a Purple Heart recipient. I wonder if they ever met.
