Vance is a mere joke.

    1. “The facts are bad!” Says the #2 Guy in the administration hallmarked by “our Covid infection rates would go down if we just stopped testing” and the admin that fires all the non-partisan economists and stats keepers.

      This is fucking horseshit

    2. Step 1: call for service. “There’s been a shooting.”

Step 2: law enforcement makes a report, documenting the shooting.

Step 3: law enforcement add the shooting to the crime numbers and report it to the FBI.

Step 4: FBI compiles numbers, which show crime is down.

If the process is broken, it’s one of these steps. Please be specific about where the breakdown is, tell us how you know, and tell us how deploying the military against the will of the state governors is an acceptable solution.

    3. Remember when he said he’s happy to make things up to push the narrative? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

    4. So let’s see *your* statistics, sources, and data. Surely you can easily get some aerial imagery of these “warzones”, with all the very expensive military hardware we pay for, no?

Fuckers hide the evidence we want to see (Epstein Files) and proclaim wild ass (dangerous) shit without any evidence to back it up.

      Zero. Fucking. Accountability.

      ALL. Fucking. Liars.

And they’re still trying to use “crime” as an excuse to invoke the Insurrection Act

“I don’t think so, your facts shoulda said pwease.”

His gaslighting is so idiotic only maga believes it. 🤦🏻‍♂️

    7. Remember, Vance is part of the administration that is trying to undermine data gathering on everything from business to disease.

He’s making accusations of fudging data because that’s what he would do and what MAGA does as standard practice. It’s always projection and admissions when the right accuses the left.

    8. At least Chicago & Portland didn’t shut down the govt to hide horrible jobs numbers, horrible inflation, 57% of tariffs were paid by ‘Mur’Cans not “other countries” (up to 75% next year), and the fact the (R) Leader and mega-doners all banged kids on Epstein Island…

“Any statistics that don’t corroborate our narrative are improper statistics!” – JD Vance

    10. Kristen Welker is a shitty journalist who does not know the meaning of a follow up question when given the OBVIOUS opportunity.

She was kissing his ass thinking him up and down for coming on the show, and I’m convinced the reason they do that is that they’re trying to make NBC a safe space so they can spout their bullshit and not get challenged on it

    11. If they’re keeping bad stats, then how do you know crime is up? 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

    12. > They are too busy eating the dogs. Did they even say thank you or wear a suit?

      – Vance, probably

    13. Projection. The Trump administration’s first thought on any problem is to manipulate the numbers to make it look like less of a problem, which is why they deliberately created a crisis via refusing a cruise ship from docking early in the pandemic so that the number of COVID-infected passengers on board would not count against the statistics. Trump even said as much quite directly, saying [“I like the numbers where they are”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5ZkUzOAnVo).

Reality does not exist to them, only perception, and they assume this is the case for everyone else as well.

    14. Ummm, does he not realize that same logic he claims is happening can actually be applied to the jobs numbers and such his administration is releasing – the jobs numbers are good because they’re not even keeping the statistics properly.

There are two crimes you can’t fake the stats for, homicide and auto theft. The first one is obvious way, corpses are corpses, the second is because insurance companies keep both reporters and the police inline because of their monetary interest in it.

And guess what, they are both down year over year for the last 3 years.

How’s crime doing in the White House? Seems to be flourishing….although they aren’t keeping track.

    17. Welker: So, then, by what measure are you and the President relying on?

Vance: We can see it with our own eyes!

Welker: So you are extensively touring Chicago and Portland?

Vance: No, but we’re seeing it on the News!

      Welker: What news outlets?

Vance: FoxNews and others, but not fake news

Welker: and you know that FoxNews has been showing footage from months past, right?

Vance: Kristen, these cities are a DISASTER!

    18. It’s hardly worth engaging with these people anymore. They’re completely untethered to truth. They know it and they know you know that they know it. Every absurd assertion of theirs is an exercise in raw power over truth. No outside force, not even facts, supersede their will in their view. It’s Orwellian to a T.

Sure Jan, the local government is less informed about what’s going on in their own backyard than this incompetent federal government who have fired most of the people that were keeping records.

I know for sure that the local government knows more about what’s happening in their own city than this inept administration who use misinformation and fantasy to push their own warped America-last agenda.

Many high rank police admins have duties solely dedicated to compiling statistics, trends, sending it to the FBI, presenting it to top brass, presenting that to state political bodies, and so on. Anyone who’s ever been in a heirarchy, business or law enforcement, knows this. It’s a bad lie that 10s of millions of people can see through without any critical thought whatsoever. It’s literally their job to take the numbers the program produces and organize it. In our state, the FBI reaches out if the department doesn’t regularly submit the policing stats to them.

    21. From the same administration that got rid of the jobs report because they’re tanking the economy
