I think it was sometime in the late 90’s that I realized it’s better to separate the musician from the music.
If you want to see an absolute amazing Smiths/Morrissey cover band, check out the Sweet and Tender Hooligans. The lead singer, Jose Maldonado, is a dead ringer for Morrissey.
