October 13, 2025Members of the the anti-fascist Cervi family. They were peasant farmers whose seven sons were executed by firing squad as reprisals of two fascist officials killed earlier (Dec. 28, 1943). The oldest was 42 and youngest 21. 1935 (1920×1313)
October 13, 2025Grace McDaniels and her son, Elmer, photographed in the early 1940’s. Grace was born a with rare condition known today as Sturge–Weber syndrome, but went on to have a lucritive career with Harry Lewiston’s Traveling Circus. (500×331)
