Man I’ve definitely sat on one of those rickety rattan chairs before. I can’t imagine trying to balance on one trying to give birth while a bunch of people are grabbing me.

Members of the the anti-fascist Cervi family. They were peasant farmers whose seven sons were executed by firing squad as reprisals of two fascist officials killed earlier (Dec. 28, 1943). The oldest was 42 and youngest 21. 1935 (1920×1313)
