In a small Balinese village, a fully grown tiger was caught on CCTV leaping onto a second-floor balcony – clearing an 18-foot height in a single bound.

    1. Wow they have huge doors in these villages…..how big are these people? Is that like a 8 foot high motorcycle? Simply INTERESTING AND AMAZING,

Where did the tiger come from?

The Balinese Tiger has been extinct since the 1950s.

    3. The door is 7′, that slab bottom is sitting at 8′, so that’s under 9′ total jump, still scary but not 18′. You got to add the railing also, so that’s another 3.5′, so udner 14′ total.

18 feet… 100 feet. Numbers and facts don’t mean anything just say what ever seems the coolest.

    5. Feet must be smaller in Bali, because to me 18ft would be the balcony of the next floor up.

Comments are all arguing about the real height, but I would like to ask why the tiger jumped on to that balcony, or what happened afterwards. Hopefully, it didn’t go into the apartment to snack on whatever was living in there.

    7. Motorbikes against the wall will be some 40-60inches high (1 – 1.5m) – same as standard door heigh is approx. 80 inches.
So probably some 3.5m high jump.

    8. You people don’t know what you’re talking to about. Clearly in that country they use metric feet.

1st floor or 2nd floor? And as a separate follow on question, what floor is ground zero on?

    10. “Honey, looks like the tigers got into our trash bin again. Must of been after the rotisserie chicken bones”

I have two Xs over the places I want to live. 1 I fucking love cats and I will attempt to pet during all variations of sobriety. All kitties have different height range. Look before you move.

The tiger is around 10 ft. There roughly 1.8 of the tiger in terms of the hypotenuse. So it is around 18 ft leap. Adjacent is around 12 ft yes.

Hypotenuse is from the point of lower leg touching floor to the upper leg contact point to railing when jump finished. That’s around 18 ft. Lol haha math people :).. it’s not the height.. so silly. Someone said 18ft jump and the op thought it was height scaled.
