I showed this to my niece when she was 11. She wrote Chris’s name on her converse

Was every movie of the late 20th century based on a story by stephen king or Philip k dick?

    3. This is true nostalgia not just the movie but with what the movie portrays being young and curious and wanting to explore the world around you not wanting to do it alone but to find the friends that are willing to do it with you and the memories that you hold onto forever, me and a couple friends used to do the same thing but on bikes we would ride to different stores or the mall and in those days before the urban sprawl I was surrounded by cornfields alfalfa fields watermelon fields and the fields with no plans of anything being built on those were the best memories and days

    4. This is one of those movies I have to rewatch periodically. And much like Pink Floyd’s Time, it hits everytime but it hits differently.

Aw I remember watching this with my mum in the living room when I was a kid. I miss you mami :’) love from Argentina

    6. Yes you get it instead of following all the stupid social trends or just being able to be a goofy little kid. Those days you were able to actually enjoy being a kid with your imagination riding your bike and literally hanging out with your friends doing nothing

    7. No less interesting than the fates of the four characters in the film are the fates of the four actors who played the boys.

    8. I live across the pasture from the filming site of the dead body scene. I think about that from time to time… And then I think about all the abuses those child actors went through by their “care givers,” and I sigh.
