It’s a fair question.

Single issue voters are a plague. Especially since the issue you’re complaining about will be exacerbated by the other party.

and every person who I ask that question to somehow refuses to answer.

and when they do…they show their misogynistic racist side

I don’t know what Harris is complaining about here. If she wanted the vote of this person, she could have gotten it very easily by doing the thing that was both moral and pragmatic for her, and made arm shipments to Israel conditional, or signaled that she would hold them to literally any kind of standards at all.

Seeing that she didn’t do that, it is very clear to me, that she didn’t want their support, which was pretty stupid, but I guess she just preferred Donald Trump being president to treating Palestinians as human people.

Fuck her for both of those things by the way. Fuck you too OP for much the same thing.

    4. Is she the same lady that couldn’t win despite an endorsement from Beyonce and Taylor Swift lol?

You have to be so stupid if you think the pro-Palestine crowd lost her the race. Biden and the DNC fucked the 2024 election.

    5. Keep running as Republican Lite, that’ll show them.

“Most lethal military”, “small business loans”… yeah everybody in this economy wants that.

    6. The message of “The DNC isn’t as bad as the GOP” doesn’t work on voters anymore, and the fact that some liberals still defend the failure of Harris’s campaign AND the DNC’s broad contempt for their constituents is beyond vile.

    7. It’s really not. It’s a pathetic deflection of responsibility.

I voted for Kamala and still criticize her missteps and her position on Israel was definitely one of them.

    8. The Biden administration’s complicity in the genocide in Gaza was unpopular, especially amongst his base. Harris had a chance to change that when she announced her candidacy but refused to and now is on a book tour gaslighting us how none of this was her fault. If she had changed her stance and find unequivocally in favor of a permant ceasefire and a weapons embargo on Israel I guaranteed you that would have increased her vote count

    9. 33% Trump.
      32% Harris.
      34% Didn’t Vote.

I blame single-issue non-voters even more than republicans because they knew what would happen. They just couldn’t get off their high horse long enough to vote for the rest of us. And now theyre complaining about the things we tried to stop.

    10. >The 2020 and 2024 presidential contests were among the highest-turnout elections in the past century. The 66% turnout rate in 2020 was the highest since 1908, and 2024’s rate of 64% was the second highest, tied with 1960.

      >Moreover, eligible voters in 2024 who did not cast a ballot were fairly closely divided in their preferences: 44% said if they had voted, it would have been for Trump, while 40% said they would have voted for Harris. This stands in contrast to 2020, when eligible voters who didn’t vote expressed a clear preference for Biden (46% said they would have voted for Biden, 35% said they would have voted for Trump).

    11. No it’s not a fair question. This is the moron who lost the election because she decided that bear hugging a demented mummy was a better political move than calling for an end to genocide.

What incredibly undeserved arrogance coming from a political moron too cowardly to even stand up to her own corporate-owned campaign. Just a master class in why the democrats are at a practically single digit approval rating. She makes me sick that I wasted my vote supporting her.

    12. Hahaha yes it’s voters fault for not wanting to help a genocide hahaha silly voters! More more billions to the apartheid!!!

    13. theseustheminotaur on

Easy to say this to her since you’re not going to get nearly the same pushback you would against Republicans. Also she has no power so it doesn’t do anything. Why not do this to the folks in power?

    14. Yeah Kamala, let’s blame your party’s garbage neo-liberal policy on Gaza protesters instead of the billionaire and AIPAC death grip on your party.

How have we learned NOTHING from 2016 and 2024?????

    15. How stupid do you have to be to protest the losing candidate after the election, when her party is the minority in every branch? What are you hoping to achieve?

    16. I’m voting for Zohran Mamdani regardless of what the DNC vanguard thinks. I got to vote for him in a primary with ranked choice voting and no super delegates.

      The comments here…

Yes my position lead to an outcome that is objectively worst by every metric but if the brown lady just done what us white sophomores told her to do and say pretty please, there would be Peace in the Middle East™️. And if thousands of Gazans had to die for my empty values I’d stay home on election day to whine about it on Reddit again!

I want every single person one of you to the look in the mirror and say, “the liberated Gaza people will join me hand and hand, thanking me because they know their path to freedom started the day we kept that uppity B—-h out of the White House.” without laughing.

You all sounds like American soybeans farmers.

I’m not sure at this point what 4 more years of democrats would do to stop fascism. We didn’t use our time to pack the courts, prosecute criminals from the previous admin, start militias, etc. We kept trying to pretend like we could just shake hands and act like they could do the same. Decorum was dead and buried the second McConnell refused to seat Garland on the SC during an election year, but libs still reached across the aisle so many times for god knows what fucking reason. And then McConnell seated Gorsuch during an election year and y’all just didn’t fucking pack the courts after. Just let the SC be 7-2 republican. At least Meghan McCain got to campaign with Kamala, right?

It was absolutely unacceptable to move right on immigration before the election, but democrats signed ICE’s giant fucking budget too this year anyways so I don’t fucking know. I’m happy to hardcore jump behind a democrat right now that promises to arrest and prosecute all of these ICE agents and Trump sycophants, BUT ONLY IF THEY PROMISE TO NEVER THROW ANOTHER GROUP OF PEOPLE TO THE WOLVES AGAIN. NO MORE CAPITULATION.

    19. isnt that the person who lost an election against a convicted felon? why is anyone still listening to this loser?

Republicans always show up to vote, always. Even if they didn’t like trump they do it because they think they are saving the babies or some other insane reason.  I suggested on the politics sub, that maybe dems should do the same because dem candidates are always more qualified and usually better by a long shot, even if you find fault with them, they would be infinitely better for America.  The way I was downvoted and told no their vote has to be earned by a perfect candidate that caters to all their positions.

      I’m sorry, that’s bull.

I wish the election went our way. It was ours to lose. But a campaign that won’t meet the public where they are isn’t going to win. That’s not on voters.

Differences aside, I do feel bad for Harris because she was left holding the bag, when a lot of more powerful people are much more to blame.

    22. All the people who yelled “Killer Kamala” or “Genocide Joe” are unironically too lobotomized to get the joke.
