A snapshot I can’t stop looking at – their faraway expressions, the dog enjoying the sun on his face, and the tree shadows in the background. Taken around 1915 in Missouri.

I’ve scanned many family photos, but this one stood out to me. I thought the photographer had an excellent eye for framing the subjects. The photo looks like it was taken during the golden hour, too.
