I don’t get what Aurangzeb did. Most of the allegations are just spread by the Indian government. Some of y’all should really start reading historical sources, because most of the allegations are bullshit.
He legit strengthened the governments power and united most of the subcontinent.
If it hadn’t been for those annoying Maharathas, the subcontinent would have never been conquered by the British.
Aurangzeb had tons of Hindus in his court and powerful positions, and outright REFUSED to forcibly convert anyone when his advisors said he should.
