Context: The Parthian Empire’s Ruling dynasty wasn’t actually Parthian originally. They were of the parni tribe and a part of dehea confederation, Eastern Iranian Saka tribes.
They were one of the last tribes to migrate to the Iranian plateau from central Asia.
They migrated to Parthian or partava in old Persian, were they then faught with the Greek Seleucids for 100 years resulting in the fall of the selecuid empire and the reconquest of Iran by iranic people.
