During the reconstruction of the World Trade Center, construction workers had to choose bring their own lunch or go down for 30 minutes daily to grab a meal. To solve this, Subway constructed a fully equipped shop within a shipping container, which was conveniently lifted to the workers each day.

This might sound like a small thing, but it’s actually a huge deal. Going down from that height for lunch isn’t just inconvenient but time consuming. Lifting a Subway shop up every day shows how creative people can be when it comes to solving real problems.
I would’ve brought my own food, subway fucking sucks and overpriced, but then again this is some old news so maybe it wasn’t overpriced and ass back then
