    1. The first pic is kind of scary but the others are so cute! I hope to be that happy one day!

Deep down he’s dying inside.  His wife settled for him.  His kids don’t respect him.  He’s passed over time and time again at his job but he just keeps the happy face on knowing that Jesus loves him.  Yes… he… does 😢

saddest goes to the right whales and also because they’re critically endangered

    5. Just because your face resembles a smile doesn’t make you the happiest animal. It means you look like you are the happiest animal. Those are two very different things. This guy has crippling credit card debt a giant student loan, and hasn’t been able to find a date in five years.

    6. They look like they’re acclimated to humans and they’re smiling just so they can reach in and take your wallet. Their fingers may be tiny, but they look nimble.

But is he actually happy, though? He just has a face that randomly happens to mimic a human expression of happiness. Has anyone stopped to ask the quokka how he actually feels? I’d hate to do him wrong by projecting our own idea of him over his actual inner self.

    8. Little background on these guys. They only live on one remote island with almost no predators. They’ve become so reliant on humans that any natural instincts to avoid outsiders is gone. In the rare chance they are actually threatened or come in contact with a predator they have been know to throw their babies as a distraction before running. These little guys would not survive anywhere else.
