    1. Is this actually from Belle Glade? That’s my hometown, I thought I was seeing things when I read the location.

    2. The only thing in Belle glade is A county jail, one intersection, and Sugar cane fields, half of them on fire

    3. Their peaceful lives are about to end. Certainly both boys served in WWII and the girl probably either worked in a factory or joined the many women’s auxiliary. Hope all three made it through the war. (Edit) just noticed the girl looks a lot like my mother who would have been 18 then, but lived nowhere close to Florida…

    4. I love when old photos are so clear and have accurate looking color. I’m sure it was enhanced, but it’s so crisp.

    5. The practicality of that car is amazing for its size. It’s the size of a Corolla and has 3 rows of seating? Plus a convertible, plus a built in luggage rack. Sometimes it feels like we’ve gone backwards.
