There is still a chance that the connection train is also late.
This being DB, it is even very likely late as well.

Deutsche Bahn (DB) ist the biggest piece of crap… One event will be stuck in my head forever.
Was travelling with them and had to change trains. We were running late, as always, but the conductor told the whole train that the connecting train will wait for us at the other site of our arrival platform. Just get out of the current train and move 10m across the platform and get into the waiting train.
I did like I was told to…. And after leaving the station I noticed that it was the wrong train. It did not stop at Frankfurt Airport. It rode to a complete other direction 🤬 and some folks missed their flights as the next stop was in another city (Mannheim).

I’m sure there was a time when the German railways were seen as one of the best railways in the world – efficient, on time etc, similar to Swiss railways. What happened? and when?
