Stallone was hit in the chest by Lundgren. Later that night Stallone’s heart swelled up and his blood pressure skyrocketed. He had to take a low altitude flight to the ER and he was admitted to the ICU. He had a bruised heart from the impact. Stallone described it as being hit by “a streetcar named Drago” and that his heart stopped momentarily during the initial impact.
