What I think is being lost in this is that when asked what his message to hurting Americans is, he simply says “Blame Democrats.” Nothing about “we’re working to a resolution,” or “we’ll find a way to help you,” or even a “we acknowledge your pain.” Just “blame them.”
We obviously knew that this is who DJT was, but there is just absolutely nothing beneath the surface here that is capable of anything other than blaming other people. No effort towards finding a solution. No genuine care for anybody else. Just assigning blame.
