Well at the age when I was watching Rescue Rangers I wasn’t allowed to watch Indiana Jones (I only knew about it because of the Indiana Jones Stunt Show in Disneyworld scene from the Full House episode), and didn’t know Magnum PI existed. I also wonder why I never picked up on the direct references to mob movies and fight club that were in the cartoons I watched as a kid as well.
