Well I mean, seems more like a change in DA for a more pastel aesthetic and all. We’ll see with the full movie (I haven’t seen the whole trailer though, gonna start with that)
Edit: If they didn’t just hide CGI scenes out of the trailer (aside frome the cars?) it does seems to be a way of easing actions scenes’ animation thanks to a less detailed DA (and thank god, as Denji’s CGI form was not bad but was already a bit old when the first season came out)
Edit 2 : so a less detailed DA for a more constant and organic animation with pastel aesthetic (I personally already love it)

The change of art happened with Jjk too. Still even though I prefer the older art style both have god tier animation.
