Himalayas clearly visible from Bihar, India (100 miles away)

    1. I remember once I was driving in Iceland towards the Big central mountain from Reykjavik. We started seeing what looked like a small pointy white tip right above the horizon with 100 kms to go. We were wondering what that was and we were driving towards it. As we got closer, I was expecting the tip to become bigger and expand, instead more of the mountain started appearing below the tip the closer and closer we got. Finally when we were right near it the tip that we saw 100kms ago was the very top 5% of the mountain. The rest was below the horizon when we were looking at it 100kms ago.

That tip was very small compared to what you see in this picture. So you can imagine that what the size of mountains you see in this picture is in reality. As you get closer more mountain will get added from below.

Just saw another post showing same exact view from 150 miles away. Even the position of the pole is same

Bullshit how the fk do people believe this!
Everest is not 100 miles away, it’s 300 miles away.
Op is karma farming with this shitty fake picture.

I’m from nepal. I’ve been to 3 peaks(Basecamp) and there is absolutely no way to capture all of these peaks in one image like this from Nepal, let alone India(bihar)

It’s actually much farther than 100 miles to begin with! It’s funny how mountains often look even bigger from a distance. I live about half that distance closer to the mountains from Bihar, and they still don’t look anything like that, though they never fail to fascinate me.
