(If real) … but alas… I suspect this is AI… You can tell in the later part of the video when the running happens.. if real, it’s getting harder to tell, the lines are being blurred, and we need better instantaneous tools to vet shit

As others have said, 100% AI. Notice how shaky the camera is initially when facing forward and running, but then the camera turns around really smoothly, and while keeping the same velocity, the camera shake goes away and they can smoothly zoom in on the eruption.
Others have already pointed out the running people looking off, but the camera movement was another big tell for me that I thought I would point out

Boy if this is AI it’s bloody good. I work in cyber security and I am genuinely in two minds as to which way this is.
Some of the smoke and way the people move looks a bit wrong, but similarly the detail and perspective is so impressive.

It’s real. The fake look is from the terrible digital motion stabilization and compression artifacts of the gopro. There are other videos showing those dust plumes from every step taken by people as they rush down, unlikely that an AI generated video would generate that peculiarity.

What has this new generation with editting music over video’s. I want to hear the wind, the people huffing and puffing while they run for safety because they smoked too much, the guide barking orders to the npc’s in his/her group. I want it all, not a random song
