Thatās lieutenant rank. Not sure if 1st or 2nd, because of coloring. Itād be better to just say she retired as a colonel, to avoid confusion.

I am assuming that this is an early picture of her as a 1st Lt that eventually became a Colonel. As a Marine I would have not minded getting patched up by her. It is under appreciated how stressful and difficult of a job the medical personnel had to do.
