    1. And you call it american patriots despite the fact that that they are obviously freedom hating fascists?

They learned what it was and realized they wanted it.

Democracy is hard, requires work and civic duty and is messy.

Being a subject is easy. You just let the king tell you what to think and do.

      Oh…and anti-fascist is derogatory. Next thing you know, anti-nazi means you’re “un-American.”

    4. Because then theyd have to *do* something about it, and its just so much easier to say “my life is already full. Surely if its that bad then *someone else* would handle it, right? Like the military generals; surely they would remove nazis from government, right? Plus, if I tried, then Id have to fight not just the nazis, but also the SS, and the military, and the FBI, and the police, and everyone else in the govt”.

Im not saying I agree that this is how it should be, but its very understandable for why most people do nothing.

    5. The same way that Christians have learned all about the anti-christ being a deceiver and to know him by his deeds for over 2000 years…and yet worship trump and his hate, murder speech…while he’s literally building gold spray-painted calves all over the people’s WH.

    6. there’s an old poem from the 1910 describing the typical german behavior “und so schließt er messerscharf, (dass) nicht sein kann, was nicht sein darf”

so he concluded razor-sharp ,it cannot be what must not be

the people of the land of the free, the strongest democracy in the world, handed their country blind-eyed to a mob of billionaires turning it into an autocratic oligarchy… where have i see this before 🤔

      Sane people know it’s fascism.

Insane people know it’s fascism but they believe in it but can’t say it out loud so they try to redefine it.

    8. In from Germany, in school we read a book where a teacher tries to show his students how Nazi-Germany could happen.

They create a movement called “The Wave” (also title of the book if you want to have a read) and very very quickly it escalates in the same way the Nazi movement did.

So … Congratz I guess? You are on the final lecture, practical learning because some people realized you all didn’t pay enough attention to the theoretical parts. Most of your voters were alive with the people who stormed Normandy, landed in Holland and marched into germany and still refused to see the reality.

I just hope we don’t have to create an EU army to storm the beaches of Florida. I’m afraid we can’t do it before the next election which will be our practical lesson.

See you on the other side of the concentration camps. Humanity will survive. Humans not so many.

What did you expect? “Welcome, sonny?” “Make yourself at home?” “Marry my daughter?” You’ve got to remember that these are just simple farmers. These are people of the land—the common clay of the new West. You know… morons.

It’s because of how they packaged it. It’s not “in your face” like people think. Hitler didn’t suddenly start encouraging hate. He (well, his advisors, he was too busy grandstanding and being a pain in the bollock~~s~~) he groomed people, and then he seized on every opportunity presented to him. Likewise, Donald Trump did the same thing. In 2016 it was to raise his profile and show the world he still had massive influence (and to line his pockets), and now, in 2021 it’s to avoid prison.

This is why you need to teach history properly. Instead of being all “Wooo! We beat Nazis!” You have to explain how it happened, or else it’s going to keep happening. People are going to break the rules to get into power, unless you learn how they did it.
